At Artist Avenue, our summer camps and sessionals are more than just a movement—they’re a launchpad for growth, self-expression, and connection. Packed with high-energy street dance classes, rap and lyricism, creative artistic expressions, and education in hip-hop culture, each day offers campers the chance to level up both as dancers and as artistic individuals.
Led by a passionate team of dancers, rappers and community leaders, our program is designed to build teamwork, sharpen discipline, and highlight the power of consistency and commitment. We create intentional experiences that spark confidence, inspire collaboration, and cultivate a strong work ethic—all within a safe, inclusive space where every camper feels seen, heard, and celebrated.
By the end of our camp, students leave with more than just new moves and artistic expressions —they walk away with a renewed sense of self, deeper respect for others, and life skills that extend far beyond the studio.

Art in Motion: Youth Film & Performers Camp July 21-25, 2025

Get ready to bring your creativity to life in this one-of-a-kind summer experience that blends film, dance, music, and acting into a full-scale production. Whether you're stepping into the spotlight or behind the camera, this camp is your chance to be part of something unforgettable.Art in Motion invites young artists to create an original short film from concept to final cut in just five exciting days. Participants will explore both on-screen and behind-the-scenes roles with guidance from professional filmmakers and studio instructors.

🎥 FILMMAKERS TRACK (Max 5 participants)
Young filmmakers will dive into the full filmmaking process:
Operate professional camera gear
Learn about camera angles, lighting, composition, and storyboarding
Film scenes throughout the week and assist in directing
On Day 2, film and present your creative pitch for a scene
Take part in editing and post-production with support
Work directly with performers to shape the visual narrative
🎠PERFORMERS TRACK (Max 25 participants)
Dancers, actors, actresses, and musicians will:
Star in the short film through movement, music, and drama
Collaborate in the creative process—helping shape the film’s concept, choreography, soundtrack, and character development
Rotate through behind-the-scenes roles when not on camera, such as:
Assistant Director
Choreography Assistant
Script Supervisor
Set Designer
Costume/Makeup Assistant
Clapperboard Operator
Sound Assistant
Production Assistant
By the end of the week, campers will have created a fully realized short film that showcases their talent, teamwork, and creativity. The finished project will be screened online and may be submitted for future local film festivals.

9:00 AM – 4:00 PMReady to take your rap skills to the next level? This three-day intensive camp will focus on crafting powerful lyrics, understanding rhyme schemes, and perfecting your flow. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rapper, you'll work on creating an original track, mastering rap structure (verses, hooks, and choruses), and designing an album cover using street art techniques to visually represent your music.

Join us for an exciting 3-day dance workshop where each day is dedicated to a different street dance style! Whether you're just starting or have some experience, we’ve got something for everyone. Our workshops are structured to offer classes for different levels: Ages 6-8, Beginner Dancers, and Intermediate/Advanced Dancers. Space is limited, so be sure to register early to secure your spot!
