At Artist Avenue, our summer camps and sessionals are more than just a movement—they’re a launchpad for growth, self-expression, and connection. Packed with high-energy street dance classes, rap and lyricism, creative artistic expressions, and education in hip-hop culture, each day offers campers the chance to level up both as dancers and as artistic individuals.

Led by a passionate team of dancers, rappers and community leaders, our program is designed to build teamwork, sharpen discipline, and highlight the power of consistency and commitment. We create intentional experiences that spark confidence, inspire collaboration, and cultivate a strong work ethic—all within a safe, inclusive space where every camper feels seen, heard, and celebrated.

By the end of our camp, students leave with more than just new moves and artistic expressions —they walk away with a renewed sense of self, deeper respect for others, and life skills that extend far beyond the studio.

The Young Filmmakers Project Camp 1

July 6-10

  • Ages (8-17)

    Time: 9:00AM - 4:00PM

    Step into the world of filmmaking and create your own short movie from start to finish, whether you're in front of the camera or behind the scenes. Calling all youth who are interested in film-making.

    Students will:

    • Learn how to read and perform a script

    • Work with a professional cinematographer and director

    • Be part of local film festivals with their finished film

    • learn the ins and outs of show business

Animal Avenue Camp 2

July 13-17

    Time: 9:00AM - 4:00PM

    For the future vets, animal lovers, and curious minds ready to go deeper.

    Animal Avenue Camp is a hands-on, educational experience that introduces students to the real world of animal care, rescue, and conservation. This is not your typical animal camp. Students will explore foundational concepts used in veterinary medicine and animal welfare in a safe, age-appropriate, and guided environment.

    Throughout the week, campers will:

    • Learn about vaccines, disease prevention, and basic animal health

    • Be introduced to tools and techniques used in veterinary care, including safe demonstrations of equipment such as needles

    • Practice how to properly wrap and care for common animal injuries

    • Explore animal behaviour, communication, and body language

    • Gain insight into animal rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation efforts

    • Work through real-world scenarios to understand responsibility and decision-making in animal care

    This camp is designed for kids who are serious about animals and want to learn what it really takes to care for them.🐾
