Our elite street dance crew trained to the next level to perform and gain practical experience for entering the industry. Members will be prepared to battle or sing, honing their skills through real-world performances and collaborative experiences. Whether you're dancing or singing, Avenue Ensemble equips you with the expertise and confidence to shine in the competitive entertainment world.

The MOB – Breaking Crew
Wednesdays
For dancers focused on breaking foundations and battle skills.
Must be enrolled in Breaking Foundation.
Elemental – Open Styles Crew
Mondays
Covers hip-hop, popping, krump, animation, house, litefeet, popping, locking, tutting, Chicago footwork & more
Must be enrolled in Hip-Hop, Krump or Popping & Animation.
Both crews will compete in battles and competitions during the 2025/2026 season.
Dancers can join one or both crews.
Dance & Music Program
Learn the total package with Avenue Ensemble’s combined Dance & Music Program. Master all styles of hip-hop dance while learning to create and perform your own song. You’ll gain the skills to dance and sing, enhancing your performance ability. Collaborate with fellow artists to bring your vision to life in a professionally produced music video, gaining a comprehensive understanding of hip-hop culture. Dancers must be enrolled in at least one dance class outside of the crew night. Musicians must be enrolled in at least one music class outside of the program.

Music Program
Step into the creative process with Avenue Ensemble’s Music Program. Write, produce, and record your own song with guidance from experienced professionals. Take your music to the next level by collaborating with dancers to star in a professionally produced music video. As a musician, you’ll also have the opportunity for live performances, showcasing your unique talent and vision. Musicians must be enrolled in at least one music class outside of the program.
How Do I Sign Up?
Students can choose to sign up for either the dance or music program, or join both.
Starting in September 2025, students will have the opportunity to train additional hours for music and for dance.
Training sessions offered for younger and older teams
Prerequisites: To ensure that students have a solid foundation, participation in a regular class is required in addition to this program:
Dance students must be enrolled in at least one standard dance class per week.
Music students must be enrolled in at least one standard music class per week.
Both music and dance students must be enrolled in at least one of each per week.
The additional classes outside this program focus on building core skills, while Crew Night allows students to apply these fundamentals to a variety of dance styles or to the song-writing and performance aspects of music.
