Pave the Path is Artist Avenue’s immersive, child-led filmmaking program where students become well-rounded young artists. Limited to 5 students per class, it ensures hands-on learning as participants collaborate to write stories, plan scenes, act, and integrate elements from dance, music, theatre, and visual art.
Students experience storytelling from start to finish, learning how to develop a narrative, bring it to life on camera, and edit their films. Whether they want to be in front of the camera or behind it, they gain real-world skills and confidence as young artists. Projects are submitted to film festivals, giving participants the excitement of seeing their work shared with a wider audience while learning to represent themselves and their art professionally.
Students Will Learn:
- Writing and developing a story from start to finish

- Technical skills behind the camera, including filming and editing
- Integrating multiple art forms: dance, music, theatre, and visual arts
- Public speaking and mock interview experience
