Julia began dancing at the age of 6, training in traditional Chinese folk dance and participating in numerous competitions throughout her childhood. As her interests evolved, she discovered a passion for K-pop dance, expanding her artistic expression to a new genre of movement and music.

Today, Julia serves as a Co-Leader of Breakers Dance Crew, where she guides fellow dancers and leads performances and competitions across Calgary, including Calgary Expo, Jammycon, and Kpoppers.

Drawing from 7 years of experience teaching and mentoring youth through taekwondo, Julia is dedicated to creating environments that encourage community and personal growth. For her, dance is an outlet for self-expression and freedom of movement, strengthened by the connections and sense of belonging found within a community.
