Ayushi Dwivedi is an artist and dancer with a passion for creativity, expression, and community. She began her visual art journey at the age of 12, starting with sketching and later finding acrylic painting and mixed media. Her artwork draws inspiration from people, fashion, and the world around her. With experience in teaching both sketching and painting, Ayushi is passionate about helping others find their love for art. Her art has been featured in public spaces, including an exhibition at the Coquitlam Public Library. She has also contributed her artistic skills to design posters and visuals for school clubs and events.

Additionally, Ayushi is an emerging street-style dancer who began her dance journey two years ago. She began with training in Hip Hop in Vancouver and now trains in Litefeet as well, often participating in battles and community jams. She is a member of Fave 5, an all-women dance crew, and has placed Top 4 in the Zona Central 3v3 battle and One for the City’s 3v3 anniversary jam.

    Street Art Sessional (Ages 10+) – $349 for 3 months

    Dates: September 8, 2025 – December 20, 2025

    Dive deeper into the world of urban-inspired art in this three-month indoor sessional designed for ages 10 and up. Meeting weekly from September through December, students will:

    Master Advanced Techniques: Use acrylics, spray-alternative markers, airbrush simulators, and mixed media to achieve layered, textured effects.

    Refine Composition & Design: Learn principles of balance, contrast, and focal point to create dynamic wall-panel pieces and large-scale compositions.

    Typography & Lettering: Develop custom lettering styles—from bold block letters to flowing scripts—and integrate text seamlessly into your artwork.

    Stencil & Masking Mastery: Design complex stencils, experiment with multi-layer masking, and discover how to achieve crisp edges and depth.

    Collaborative Mural Project: Work alongside peers to produce a cohesive, modular mural—practicing communication, project planning, and installation techniques.

    Professional Practices: Discuss studio safety, care of materials, documentation of work, and how to build an artist portfolio.

    By the end of the session, each student will have completed multiple sophisticated artworks, contributed to a collaborative mural installation, and gained the skills and confidence to pursue their own street-art-inspired projects.

    Unleash your young artist’s creativity in this three-month indoor street art sessional designed for ages 5–9. Held weekly from September through December, students will:

    Explore Urban Art Techniques: Indoor-friendly methods using acrylics, spray-alternative markers, and mixed media

    Experiment with Color & Texture: Blend paints and materials to understand contrast and depth

    Design Stencils & Stickers: Draw, cut, and apply stencils to create repeating patterns and personalized stickers

    Collaborate on Mini Murals: Work together on modular panels, practicing composition, scale, and teamwork

    Develop Fine Motor Skills: Strengthen hand-eye coordination through focused drawing, cutting, and painting activities

    At the end of the session, each child will take home a portfolio of original artworks and the confidence to keep exploring their artistic voice. Just bring indoor shoes and a snack—everything else is provided!
